Wildlife of the Month December

Robin - (European Erithacus rubecula  - American Turdus migratorius)

This special visitor will be seen more often in the coming months, in our gardens, the hedgerows, darting to and fro in its own inimitable way.

Raucously sounding the tick-tick alarm call, yet more often cherished for his beautiful song and adornment on many a Christmas card.

Blue Tit - Cyanistes caeruleus

A great favourite in the garden is the beautiful Blue Tit.

Quick on the wing with a delightful darting movement, he can often be seen hanging upside down pecking at peanut feeders.

Present throughout the late Autumn and winter months, he is joy to watch.
